This Mexican folk art painting by local artist Sandy Garcia is untitled, yet upon closer inspection, one might catch a glimpse of what Carl Jung called "the wild woman archetype"- the inner criatura, who lives in a world not so easily seeable and who is afraid of nothing - she marches to the beat of her own drummer and, may even have birds in her hair. The bright colors and joyous brush strokes arouse a sense of mystery, exuberance and fierce freedom.
